My Facilitation Process

The Journey, Thoughtfully Prepared

Every meaningful journey begins long before the day itself.

The more prepared you are—physically, emotionally, and relationally—the more fully you're able to drop into the experience when it arrives. When safety is established, expectations are clear, and trust is present, your nervous system can begin to settle. And when it settles, you're able to go deeper.

This process is designed so that, by the time journey day arrives, there is nothing left to manage. No uncertainty about logistics. No confusion about roles. No unresolved questions.

Only the experience itself.

How the Process Begins

The process begins with a free 20-minute video call.

This is simply a conversation—a chance for you to meet me, ask questions, and get a sense of whether this feels like a good fit. There is no obligation. The goal is comfort and clarity.

If it feels aligned and we both decide to move forward, you'll receive a comprehensive intake form. Once submitted, we'll schedule your first preparation session.

Preparation

Building the Container

First Session

  • We review your intake form together and ensure physical safety through medical screening
  • If any medical or psychological flags arise, we'll coordinate with your healthcare team and require their clearance before proceeding
  • We walk through the Client Bill of Rights and informed consent together
  • We clarify expectations and answer any remaining questions
  • You leave with a clear understanding of what to expect

Second & Third Sessions

These sessions deepen the groundwork.
Together we:
  • Establish roles and safety agreements
  • Formulate your intention
  • Review tools to help you navigate the experience
  • Walk through the full arc of journey day
  • Discuss logistics (food, clothing, transportation, devices, recordings)
  • Personalize the setting (music, lighting, meaningful objects, decoration)
  • Decide on dosage based on readiness and intentions
  • Schedule your journey session and follow-up integration session
  • Make plans for your home environment where you can safely land after the journey
  • Begin shaping how you'll support integration afterward
By the end of preparation, you are not walking into something unknown.

You are stepping into something prepared.

Shaped Around You

One of the most important things to understand about this process is that it isn't designed to fit you into a predetermined mold. While there are core elements we incorporate for safety and to operate within Colorado's regulated framework, there is real room to shape this experience around who you are and what you're here to explore.

During preparation, we design that container together — not to engineer a specific outcome, but to create the conditions that best support your intentions and give you the comfort and grounding to meet whatever comes up.

Some examples of what that can look like:

If connecting with your inner child is part of your intention — we can create a space that feels open and playful. Art supplies, activities, room to move. An environment that invites that part of you to the surface, whatever form that takes.

If deepening your connection with your body feels important — we can book a space that supports movement, breathwork, or yoga. Somewhere your body has room to lead, if and when it wants to.

If honoring your ancestry or cultural roots resonates — we can build an altar together, incorporate objects or rituals that carry meaning for you, and prepare a space that holds that intention with care.

If you feel called to go inward and explore your inner world — we can create a quiet, dimly lit environment where you rest with an eye mask, supported by carefully chosen music, free to follow wherever your experience leads.

We also plan the finer details together — the snacks you'd like available, the scents in the room, the lighting, the music. These aren't afterthoughts. Comfort is not a luxury in this work — it's a foundation.

What we can't control is what surfaces during the experience itself.

Psilocybin has its own wisdom, and the journey will unfold in its own way. What we can do is prepare you as thoroughly as possible — so that whatever comes up, you feel held, resourced, and ready to meet it.

Journey Day

On the day of your session, we meet at a licensed healing center.

We take time to connect, ground, and acknowledge your intention within the space. If a symbolic or ceremonial element resonates with you, it can be thoughtfully incorporated as discussed in preparation.

When you feel ready, you'll consume the medicine and begin your experience.

A typical journey lasts 6–7 hours. During this time, you are free to explore inwardly while I remain present as a steady and supportive resource.

As the experience begins to settle, you'll have time to journal, rest, stretch, reflect, or simply sit quietly.

When you are fully grounded and safe, you'll depart with your designated transportation. (Clients are not permitted to drive themselves after sessions.)

Integration

Keeping the Experience Alive

Within 72 hours, we meet for your integration session.

This is a space to revisit the experience while it's still fresh—exploring what surfaced, what felt meaningful, and how you might begin to bring it into your daily life.

Integration isn't about forcing conclusions. It's about continuing the unfolding—allowing insight to find its place in your everyday rhythm.

Additional integration sessions are available if you'd like continued support.

My Role

While this journey centers your experience, my role is to support safety, steadiness, and containment throughout the process.

I am here to:
  • Support physical and emotional safety
  • Help you prepare thoroughly so you can fully drop into the experience
  • Respect your autonomy and natural capacity for healing
This is your experience.

I am here to help create the conditions that allow it to unfold.

A Simple Place to Begin

If you're feeling curious about exploring this work, you're welcome to reach out for a conversation.

There's no expectation to move forward—just space to ask questions and get a sense of whether this feels like the right fit.
